What drives you to write?
All my writings are born out of INSPIRATION. I am a heart-based writer; I draw inspiration from anything that the Universe, Muse, Angels and Kwan Yin nudge me to write about. Hence, my writings come from the place of Passion and Compassion. I am correct to say that my writings are channeled from Higher Realms of Light because if I am not inspired; I do not write. PLUS, I am a Born Writer.
Where can folks find you online and on social media?

What is one piece of advice you would give to another author out there who might be struggling?
My advice for other authors who are aspiring to become a published author is: keep writing. Let your writing come from the place of passion and compassion with a heart-based writing goal. Do not just write because others are writing!! Write because there is something exotic you have to share with the world. Write because you are INSPIRED.
Finally, remember everyone has their own audience. The Universe has more than enough space for everyone to express their passion and shine their lights. So, it does not matter what genres you write in; keep in mind that YOU have your own audience and there is a space for you. You just have to recognize this.
What are some of your five-year goals with writing?
I hope to have all of my books published within the next five years. I also desire to garner some Award in my Writing (as an Award-Winning Writer; LOL—who does not love that?). I have sweet-teeming manuscripts awaiting to be published; some are in soft copies and some are just in biro drafts. I would love to have all of them published within five years. Also, it is my passion to have my novels adapted to movies.
Final thoughts?
This writing journey is NOT an easy road. Let me share my story of how I became a published author (and I hope you draw some inspiration from it too).
From childhood, I have always loved writing. I started writing since high school. I published my first book in 2011 when I was in college but it was not a successful one. There were many challenges at that time. In fact, I had to go on an involuntary hiatus of five years! I never wrote a thing! But I am thankful that I am a published author today.
After going on an involuntary hiatus from writing for five years; I picked up my pen to start writing again. We all know the story of J.K. Rawlings and how she was rejected by 12 publishers. I had the same experience of J.K. Rawlings because I was rejected by 14 publishers. Worse yet, a leading Nigerian publisher whom I trusted and thought would be very happy to publish my book rejected my book and told me that my manuscript did not meet their standard. But, an American publisher (Christian Faith Publishing) told me that my manuscript was worthy of being published.
My final thoughts and tips for other writers: it BEHOOVES you to get or have a regular paying job so that you can finance your writing career. Writing is a kind of capital-intensive. So you have to have another source of income to keep you going because writing is hardwork. You are going to restrict yourself to write a book and in doing that you will not be doing it on an empty stomach. We are living in a world where we have to pay for survival; so have something else doing to be earning money because in truth your workplace can even be your first audience and marketplace to help you promote your book and make money from it. Wishing all aspiring authors success in their writing journey!

Great to meet you Kingsley!
Yes, I love that thought of writing from a heart-based passion. Well put! It takes us beyond just clever ideas and helps us reach the hearts of others.
Best Wishes,
