On this week’s episode of Filmmaker of the Week, we sit down with Griffin Loch, who at the age of just 17 has produced 3 feature films!
About Griffin:
17-year-old filmmaker Griffin Loch has achieved what most filmmakers strive for early on. His first feature, Calling the Shots, debuted in 2017, and was written and directed by Loch at just 13. His second feature at. 14 years old, The Adventure of T.P. Man and Flusher was released in 2018 and won Loch Best Director at IFS Film Festival and a nomination for best picture. Loch’s third film is A Spark in Nothing, which has won and been placed at 8 film festivals across the globe and screened at Laemmle Theatres. All three films are now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, and Google. Loch has also garnished awards from The Makers Learning Network and The Global Youth Awards Innovation in Education for his open set policy that has allowed students to work alongside industry professionals. Currently, Loch is working on a professional scale haunted house, an upcoming music video, and his fourth feature-length film.
