Family Affair
A fun time with photography
It was a Family Affair! Over this last weekend we here at To Tony Productions had the pleasure of working alongside ATB Productions to create a new music video for the electronic group The Disco Fries for their song Family Affair.
For the production we had the luxury of shooting with a nice Canon cinema zoom lens which gave us some amazing images. This in addition to the pro mist filter to give that vintage vibe was awesome. Not to mention the fact that we went with the neon soaked lighting style of the era. This video cranks up the cheese factor to 11 as we watch two rivaling photographers do their best to produce amazing (or at least what they think are amazing) images for their clients.
Think of that guy or gal you’ve met who takes a job like working at an old mall photo shop way too seriously and then add a touch of Miami Vice and you’ve got these guys here. This was a fun one to be a part of and we think the end result showcases that one well. Also having fun with the dolly push was a great little way to have natural edit points during the editing process as well.
We had a blast working with such a talented crew and so many awesome folks from around Baltimore making cool cameo appearances throughout. The track is high energy and we hope you enjoy the final result. Once you do have a chance to watch it, let us know what you think of the music video for Family Affair. Did you like the song?
