Impact Radio USA

Trying to reflect on things I have done as well as what I am doing right now in life is always hard. There is this part of me that wants to just not share these interviews because I am afraid that people who follow what I do will think that I am stroking my own ego or that I am getting repetitive. However, I want to keep sharing these podcast programs I have had the pleasure of being a part of. Another one that just debuted this week was an interview I did for Impact Radio USA as part of the program Dr. Paul’s Family Talk show.

The first thing that myself and Paul shared was our background working in the world of weddings. He was a drummer in a wedding band for many years so even before our interview there was an immediate bond in the stories, we could both share from the work in that field over the years. It was great being able to connect on this point. While I may have my own kind of jaded feelings towards weddings Paul was not of the same ilk. Perhaps that has something to do with being able to just be there during the party time portion of the event.

In any case we had a great 30-minute chat about some of my experiences with weddings over the years as well as touching on the process of what went into the book of poetry. It is always fun for me to talk about the poems because on a surface level I always just want to say you know I wrote them and there you go. However, each one truly does have a story and each one has a purpose for being written to an extant that even my words could not really do justice to.

I hope you take a moment to listen to the interview which can be found here. Also, if you like the show do check out more from Impact Radio USA, they have a lot of great content.
