Please give a brief introduction, including your name and where you are based
My name is Nick B. Ponter. I was born and brought up in Windsor, England but now live in Germany.
What book or books have you published or are working on at the moment?
I have published CONNOR JACKSON AND THE MEMORY THIEVES. The sequel, CONNOR JACKSON AND THE QUEST FOR AZOTH is with my publisher now. I am currently working on the third book in the series – CONNOR JACSON AND THE KEYS OF TRUTH.
What drives you to write?
I find that we have so much violence in today’s world and my inspiration is to take the reader on a journey away from that and put a smile on everyone’s faces. My stories are funny, combine fantasy with the real world and reflect on contemporary social issues.

What is one piece of advice you would give to another author out there who might be struggling?
You should take a step back contemplating success or becoming a best-selling author, and just enjoy what you do. Just like a musician should enjoy playing an instrument.
What are some of your five-year goals with writing?
My five-year goal is to have the second and third books published but mainly to bring enjoyment to many people. I do many live readings to book reading clubs and schools around the world and seeing happy faces in front of my gives me immense pleasure.
